As we close out another year of growth and change in the Lawrence real estate market, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to three McGrew agents whose leadership helped guide our industry forward. Bailey Stuart, Erin Maigaard, and Brian Johnson served with vision, integrity, and deep commitment to the REALTOR® community as part of the 2024 Lawrence Board of REALTORS® leadership team.
Bailey Stuart – 2024 President-Elect
A fifth-generation Douglas Countian with deep roots in Lawrence, Bailey Stuart has always been more than just a real estate professional she’s a full-time advocate for her clients and her industry. Bailey's approach combines high-touch service with smart strategy, leveraging technology, strong listing presentations, and data-backed negotiation to ensure successful outcomes. Her service on the LBOR Board of Directors since 2023, including as President-Elect in 2024 and incoming President in 2025, reflects a dedication to industry advancement. She’s also chaired the Governmental Affairs Committee and the MLS & Rules Committee, always working to raise the bar for professionalism and service.
Erin Maigaard – 2024 Vice President
Erin Maigaard brings a unique balance of warmth, efficiency, and detail-oriented care to her work in real estate. Originally a Buyers Specialist, Erin now expertly supports both buyers and sellers while maintaining a strong focus on relationship-building. Her energy and focus on professional development through certifications, national endorsements, and local leadership have positioned her as both a trusted agent and a respected leader. Erin's service as Vice President of LBOR in 2024 and her involvement on nonprofit boards reflect her strong sense of civic engagement and her deep understanding of what makes Lawrence a great place to live.
Brian Johnson – 2024 Past President
As 2023 President of LBOR and Past President in 2024, Brian Johnson brought a calm, client-centered approach to leadership. With a reputation for transparency, integrity, and practical knowledge of homes, Brian has built a thriving business grounded in trust. His leadership style focused on listening first and advocating for meaningful improvements has extended to committees on technology and strategic planning. Outside of real estate, Brian leads in the community through his involvement with Lawrence Lights, Sertoma, and as the founder of Pickleball Lawrence. Whether he’s helping clients navigate a sale or rallying neighbors to volunteer, Brian brings joy, focus, and service to everything he does.
