  • Currently Chairing the Governmental Affairs Committee. This committee investigates, evaluates, and proposes pursuits/positions for the LBOR on matters of City/County Government.

  • I’m a faithful member and served as 2022 Chairperson of the MLS & Rules Committee (policy and forms) which is responsible for developing, reviewing, and recommending any modifications to the standard forms and documents of the LMLS. The committee also considers, reviews, and recommends MLS Policy modifications.

About me:

I’m a fifth-generation Douglas Countian! Raised south of Lawrence, I grew up enjoying the qualities of both Baldwin City and Lawrence. Sports occupied much of my time, continuing with college Volleyball. Between coaching and playing in adult leagues off and on over the last decade; I love to keep VB in my life. Before my real estate career, I had experience in education at the Jr. High School level and I enjoy stepping people through new processes.

My family has owned a local business since 1981, that has been actively involved with the construction of new homes in Lawrence and surrounding areas. This exposure to new construction gives me an edge on process and quality.

Kyle, Marley and I live in Lawrence with our two German Shepherds. We enjoy anything outdoors - My free time is spent landscaping and gardening, working out, paddleboarding, going to concerts, and giving the dogs their best lives! I’m a music junky. Metallica is my #1 and seeing them in 2023 for two night concert was without a doubt a bucket list memory.

Education and Involvement-

  • Kansas Fire & Rescue Training Institute: Firefighter Levels 1 and 2, Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations

  • Attended Allen Community College on a volleyball scholarship and then went back HOME to The University of Kansas.

  • I coached VB for multiple years as well as playing in Womens Power and Co-Ed Power leagues

  • Certified as a Stand-up Paddle Board Yoga Instructor with Free State of Mind SUP Yoga.
